17 – Postcard of “The Willows, 79 Seaside Ave., Dennis, is still being operated as a bed and breakfast inn. The last Howes owners were Anson and Esther Howes, parents of Richard S. Howes. The last Howes occupant, Mrs. Ralph Howes, known as “Aunt Hettie” had died and her nephew, Anson sold the property. The house had been acquired by Nathan & Zoeth Howes from Aaron Crowell Jr. about 1816. It was built 1810-11.”Artifacts
