10 – Black & white print of painting of ship Southern Cross, “Captain Thomas7 Prince Howes (Prince6, Jeremiah5, Lot4, Prince3, Jeremiah2, Thomas1) and Captain Benjamin7 Parker Howes (Nathan6, Joseph5-4, Samuel3, Joseph2, Thomas1). While under the command of Capt. Berjamin she was captured and burned by the confederate vessel, Florida in 1863. In 1865 Capt. Benjamin was murdered by Chinese pirates.”Related items
