Letter from Baker & Morrill, signed by E. H. Baker, to his brother. Ezra Howes Baker (1811-1876) was a merchant of Boston. He was the son of Judah Baker & Mercy Howes and and the "Brother" to which he was writing was probably Howes Baker (1801-1849). Captain Caleb Crowell, mentioned in the letter was Capt. Caleb Strong Crowell (1813-1880), son of Freeman Crowell & Sarah Kelley.Related items
