The "Washbon Baker" mentioned in the letter was probably Washburn Baker, born in Yarmouth on 11 Mar 1810. He was the son of Ebenezer Baker & Lucy Gage. In 1834, he married Cordelia Chase. Both are buried in Woodside Cemetary in West Yarmouth.en_US
