This is an account book for the Schooner Allen Greene, probably kept by Arthur Nickerson and measures: 7" W x 8 1/2" H x 1" T. The notebook has prenumbered pages 1-377 - but only the first 101 pages are used and the spine is preprinted: "Journal." The condition of the ledger is excellent. Additionally, the ledger contained a single insert - a receipt from the Tug Three Brothers of New YorK for towing the Schooner Allen Greene from Baker's Island to Red Hook on 21 Nov 1896, $10. On back is written: "A. C. Nickerson, 31 B'way." This ledger contains accounts, bills, charges, income etc. for the Allen Greene from various voyages spanning May 1894 - April 1899.Related items
