Digging of Sesuit Harbor - Page 3A. Crane still wallowing in the mud but out of the pit - views of the crane which sank in the marsh, south of Point Allerton, while trying to dig a ditch in the fill to relieve drainage for George CanhamDeciding. Three cranes and/or trucks were used to pull it out. The photo is from the second of two groups concerning the digging in Sesuit Harbor. The digging in Sesuit Marsh refers to the building of a dike on the marshland - filled with material dredged from Sesuit Harbor and Creek. From From Group 19 of the Henry Homer Sears Estate Albums.
