Men in a small boat rowing to an offshore ship

dc.coverage.spatial	A large group of slides were received from Mary Aseltine on 20 June 2012. They were in 5 bundles, and there was no order to the bundles. Most are marked up with numbers and descriptions, but there is no obvious order to many of them. Each Group (bundle) was ordered as best could be based on the numbers on them. They were re-numbered with a GREEN pen, which is our inventory number. They were then entered into an inventory sheet by Group, Our No., the various numbers already written on the slides, and the description on the slide if present. The handwriting on the slides was very poor, so the inventory list is augmented with additional description by viewing the slide. Large numbers of the slides are merely photos of existing drawings/paintings/articles from books, and hand drawings. Most have to do with slavery and the Civil War. All the slides have been digitized and stored in sleeves.	en_US
