    Abstract
    Fourteen numbered pages in pencil; at the top of the first page, in ball-pen, is written: "Mildred." The essay was written by Mildred Crowell (30 Sep 1891 - 24 May 1990), daughter of Edward Dillingham Crowell and Louisa Maria Sears Crowell. Mildred never married. Her essay ends abruptly after discussing her childhood life extensively
