This house, built in 1808, is now owned by descendants David & Jane (Pine) Wood. David is the great-grandson of Ella Mae Howes, daughter of Carleton Howes. The letters were captured by David’s son using a high-resolution scanner and placed on a CDen_US

In most cases all of the documents appear to have been faithfully scanned, with no loss of information.
