Joe Jefferson's Residence publ. by Thomson & Thomson, Boston. Buttermilk Bay Bourne. Jefferson was a famous actor 1828-1905. After a fire burned the original house, Jefferson rebuilt his house on a bluff near Electric Avenue facing south toward Buzzards Bay. The structure later became the Joseph Jefferson Inn and, in its final incarnation, The Inn at Buttermilk Bay.Artifacts
