[Papers related to the Estate of Anthony Howes. The published Dennis Vital Records list his death as follows: “Died Dec 21st 1868, Anthony Howes, male, Married, 48 yrs 5 mos, Cerebro Spinal Meningitis, res. Dennis, Mariner, d. Philadelphia, b. Dennis, father William Howes (b. Dennis), mother Lydia (b. Dennis), bur. Dennis.” He is buried on Lot 169 in Dennis Village Cemetery. with both of his wives. His first wife was Susan Sears (d. 1851), and second wife was Sally Winslow Sears (d. 1876). This section could also be rightly called “Sally W. (Sears) Howes’s Estate” as much of this concerns her estate.]
