Family group; photo a copy of an original, contained in a cardboard frame. On the frame, Pauline (Nickerson) Kennedy has written: “My Grandfathers brother Nemiah Robbins Nickerson born in Dennis Port on West St. House still in very good shape. He married ------ from Harwich, who still has relations in town. I went to this baby’s funeral. He was 93 when he died. Nemiah founded the R.C.L.S. [sic, R.L.D.S] in Plymouth. He worked in the Ply. Cordage all his life. His Dad lost at sea.” Printed on the back of photo: “’Good People’ All LDS members of Plymouth Church. Nehemiah was Minister. Lived downtown near Rock. Plymouth, Massachusetts. February, 1898.” The way the key to the photos is written, it’s a little confusing, so refer to the image of the captions: 1. “Sylvia Nickerson - sister of Daniel H. Nickerson APK’s maternal great grandfather. Ran soup kitchen.” 2. “Hattie Genevieve Sutherland.” 3.“Florence E. Pinkham.” 4. “Nehemiah Robbins Nickerson.” 5. “Alma Nehemiah Nickerson.” 6.“Emma Millman.” 7. “Addie Leland.” 8. “Doris Irene Nickerson Giovanetti. 1st married plumber in Plymouth, LDS married Italian Catholic.” 9.“Hattie Eldredge Nickerson.” 10. “Arthur Stanley Nickerson”, Bro. of Daniel, b. Dennisport, migrated to Plymouth. Shoe Salesman.”Artifacts
